Security Guard Rates in Fort Worth & DFW
Published rates for every service we run. Budget before you call, then hold our written quote against the numbers on this page.
We don't post warm bodies. We deploy trained officers behind a real threat assessment.
What Coverage Costs
Hours, post count, site risk, and lead time set the final rate. We price above the low-cost end of this market on purpose. You pay for officers who arrive trained, supervised, and briefed on your site.
How it works
What Raises Your Rate
The rates above assume a scheduled post with normal risk. These conditions push your quote higher.
Same-Day Requests
Pulling an officer onto a shift with hours of notice costs more to staff.
Late Hours
Coverage after 11 PM prices above daytime and evening posts.
Holidays
Holiday shifts carry holiday pay for the officer.
Elevated Threat
A known threat, prior incident, or active dispute raises the staffing and planning requirement.
High-Profile Events
Public figures, media coverage, and published guest lists draw attention to your event.
Alcohol Service
An open bar changes crowd behavior and the officer count you need.
Crowd Size
More guests need more officers, a lead officer, and a relief plan.
Armed Requirement
A commissioned officer costs more to hold and to staff than an unarmed post.
Travel Outside DFW
Posts beyond the metroplex add travel time and expenses.
Long-term and multi-site agreements price below the single-post rate. Tell us the term you have in mind when you request a quote.
How Billing Works
Payment
Full payment is due before work starts. Your balance clears before officers deploy.
Cancellation
Cancellations inside 72 hours of the scheduled start forfeit payment.
Fees
Invoices carry a 3% administrative and technology fee. Past-due balances accrue 1.5% per month.
Security Guard Rate FAQ
How much does a security guard cost in Fort Worth?
Our uniformed unarmed officers run $40 to $50 per hour and armed officers $60 to $75. Private event security starts at $75 per hour, and executive protection runs $150 to $200. Call for patrol pricing.
Why do you publish ranges instead of one price?
A daytime unarmed lobby post and an overnight armed post at a job site carry different costs. The range tells you where you start. The site walk and your schedule set the number on your quote.
What is protected transport?
A licensed personal protection officer drives your riders from pickup to destination and back, and waits with the vehicle between legs. The rate is $125 per hour for two riders, plus $25 per hour for each additional rider. We drive your vehicle, or ours starting at a flat $100 plus mileage. Read the security driver service page for the full scope.
Do long-term contracts cost less?
Yes. Long-term and multi-site agreements price below the single-post rate. Tell us the term you have in mind when you request a quote.
Is Thirteen Alpha Solutions licensed in Texas?
Yes. Thirteen Alpha Solutions LLC holds TX DPS Class C License #C31017501 from the Texas Department of Public Safety, Regulatory Services Division, Private Security Program. A Class C license covers guard, patrol, and investigations statewide.
